A painful dermatosis had been present on the hands for 9 years. Previous ineffective treatments included topical clobetasol, prednisone, phototherapy (PUVA and narrow-band UVB), etanercept. Previous medical history included history of heroin addiction, hepatitis C with cirrhosis, type 2 diabetes mellitus. Lesional biopsy was reported as psoriasis.
